Lumen Auto was born from a simple observation during a lantern festival evening in Taipei. Visitors from around the world stood beneath glowing paper lanterns, captivated by Taiwan's beauty, yet many struggled to venture beyond the city center. They spoke of wanting to reach Jiufen's hillside teahouses, the coastal cliffs of Yehliu, or the hot spring valleys of Beitou, but transportation felt complicated and impersonal.
We founded Lumen Auto in early 2018 with a vision to change that experience. Like the soft amber glow of a lantern guiding travelers through the night, we wanted to provide a service that would illuminate the path to Taiwan's hidden corners with warmth and care. Our first fleet consisted of just three luxury sedans, each prepared with route suggestions and cultural notes about the destinations our guests might visit.
Today, our collection has grown to include over forty premium vehicles, from elegant touring sedans to spacious family SUVs. What remains unchanged is our commitment to making every journey feel personal, thoughtful, and gracefully managed.
